Mary Landrieu told Louisiana voters in October 2009 that there was no employer mandate in ObamaCare. In fact, she said that she wouldn’t support a bill that had a small business mandate. Landrieu doubled down in December 2009 saying on the floor of the Senate that “the bill also has no employer mandate.”

The Obama administration has once again rained on Landrieu’s parade by announcing Monday it’s delaying part of the same employer mandate for a second year, exempting mid-size businesses until 2016 and giving large businesses more time to ramp up to full coverage. Politico notes that it’s “the latest move to counter a torrent of criticism from the business community about the health law’s impact on employers.”
